Join Michelle and fellow author Chloe Ito Ward for an AANHPI month storytime at Third Place Books - Lake Forest Park!

Michelle will be reading her book MAMIE TAPE FIGHTS TO GO TO SCHOOL (written by Traci Huahn), a historical nonfiction picture book about 8-year-old Mamie Tape, who was prohibited from attending her local segregated school in 1800s San Francisco. Chloe will be reading MADE FOR MORE, a celebration of Japanese and Hawaiian culture, customs, and nontraditional beauty standards.
